Katja Blessing

I enjoy working with children and young people, and my previous experience in mentoring and my own passion for music and the performing arts mean that I have the ideal qualifications for this role.

I have a Bachelor of Education degree and am currently in the final stages of my teacher training programme, which I will complete with the state examination. I am also studying drama at the Bruckner University Linz. My studies focus on bodywork, voice and movement, which not only gives me a creative approach to leisure activities, but also provides me with good access to children and young people.

I have already gained experience in childcare in several contexts: As an au pair in Italy, I accompanied children in their everyday lives and organised playful and creative activities. I also supported students as a tutor at the University of Augsburg and developed my communication and organisational skills in the afternoon supervision of an all-day school. These activities have shown me how important a sense of responsibility, empathy and team spirit are when working with young people.

The opportunity to accompany the young musicians in their free time and to ensure a varied week of courses is something I really enjoy.
