Felix Urthaler

Felix Urthaler has been teaching piano and accompaniment at the Musikum Salzburg since 2007. He has won several prizes at the “Prima la musica” youth competition and has performed in concerts in Germany, Austria and Italy. He was also a member of the “Blue Sky” big band under the direction of Ferdinand Schmitzberger for several years. He completed his studies with Andreas Weber at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where he obtained a Master of Arts degree. He is intensively involved in the promotion of outstanding talent and completed his training as a “Specialist in Gifted Education” at the “European Council for High Ability”. He has taken part in master classes with Gereon Kleiner, Georg Steinschaden and Norman Shetler.
