Elias Gillesberger

ELIAS GILLESBERGER was born in Upper Austria. As a piano partner, especially for singers (including Angelika Kirchschlager, Clemens Unterreiner, Ildikó Raimondi, Herbert Lippert), he performs in concerts throughout Austria. In addition, he frequently works with well-known actors (including Sunnyi Melles, Marianne Sägebrecht, Petra Morzé, Roland Koch). Concerts as a soloist and chamber musician have taken him to many parts of Europe and to renowned concert halls and festivals (including the Musikverein Vienna, Konzerthaus Vienna, Brucknerhaus Linz, Austrian Cultural Forum London, Kultursommer Semmering, International Brucknerfest Linz, Festival 4020, Styrian Chamber Music Festival, International Bruckner Festival St. Florian).

Regular activities as a répétiteur have led to work for renowned theaters, opera houses, orchestras and choirs (including the Vienna State Opera, Bruckner Orchestra Linz, Landestheater Linz, Wiener Singakademie, Vorarlberger Landestheater).
After graduating from the Musikgymnasium Linz, he studied piano with Clemens Zeilinger, chamber music with Christoph Eggner and vocal accompaniment with Julius Drake.

He completed masterclasses with Helmut Deutsch, Paul Gulda, Christiane Iven, Burkhard Kehring, Michael Schade, Adrian Eröd and the Vienna Piano Trio, among others.

Elias Gillesberger has been a répétiteur at the Anton Bruckner Institute of the University of Music and Performing Arts in his adopted home of Vienna since 2024.
