Alexandra Amariei

Alexandra Amariei regularly performs in the “Music in  Mirabell” Mozart Concerts Salzburg with her chamber music partner, clarinetist Marius Birtea, and both took part in concerts  organized by the Austrian American Foundation  ( AAF) in Schloss Arenberg Salzburg. During her studies she took part in several piano and chamber music competitions (3rd Prize in the “Mozart Society” chamber music competition in Cluj, 2008).  She performed in music festivals in Romania, France, Germany and Austria, and attended masterclasses with Tünde Kurucz, Imre Rohmann, Gabriel Amiras, Ian Philip Schulze, Hector Sanchez, Viniciu Moroianu, Tamara Smolyar.

Currently she is studying at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, in the class of Univ.Prof. Georg Steinschaden. Alexandra Amariei  was born in Bucharest, Romania and started her musical education at the age of 4. She attended the “George Enescu” music high school, and then continued her studies at the Music University in Bucharest, where she obtained her Bachelor of Music with distinction.
